By setting a page's collection type to MEDIA you can upload multiple collections of media files (images, video, audio) into individual sub-pages.
The first uploaded file in each collection is shown on the landing page as a clickable thumbnail image which reveals all items in the collection on a new page. For videos, the thumbnail is taken from the middle of the video; for audio, the image is a waveform.
Each collection is formatted on a new page as an ordered list of thumbnails which display in full screen when clicked. Arrow keys allow the visitor to step through the other images.
The CMS allows images within a collection to be dragged / dropped into a preferred order - the first image in the collection is always the image that appears on the index page.
